Telltale Games is getting into the business of franchise abuse, coming this winter.
They are seriously going to make a new Jurassic Park game AND a Back to the Future game.
“I think it’s a prime time to reintroduce these properties in the digital world,” said Dan Connors, CEO at Telltale Games. “Telltale Games has always set out to be a great storytelling company. We’ve been honing our chops over the past six years, and we’re ready to take on these two iconic properties and continue to advance storytelling in games.”
Telltale Games has been the culprits behind the games "Sam and Max Save the World"(IGN rating:6.9) and Tales of Monkey Island(IGN rating of 7 to 8.1, depending on the chapter). Both were moderate successes and have been lucky enough to have a cult following.
The last Back to Future game was Super Back to the Future II that was released for the Famicon in Japan in 1993. So, at least we have a graphics update to look forward to.
The game is planned to release this winter for all consoles, PC, and Macintosh.
